One night's rest and I found myself in a land covered with snow the next day.
Quite exciting =P

Anyone watched/read 'Shaman King'?
What does Horohoro has to do with the blog entry?
Answer: I went to the village of ainu, which is his homeland.

ignore the very weird picture of me there.
and there's a guy from the ainu tribe.
though thanks to civilisation they don't stay in such huts anymore.
go check out horo horo and compare with this guy =3

After that we went to a seafood restaurant.
a very interesting place, not only is it by the sea,
it had a HUGE bear and...

a HUGE salmon sitting on their roof of the restaurant.

but no one can miss out the ginormous crab on top of their signpost.
note that my mom and i were standing very far from the signpost.
i mean, compare the size of the crab and the truck and you'll know.

this is taken on the second storey of the restaurant.
i like the whole idea of the colour of the sea and the sky cannot be distinguished so easily.
beautiful. it actually reminded me of claude monet's painting.
but i can't remember what is the name.
erm... that's a real crab.
then whoala! we went to jigoku tani, which means hell's valley.
ehh... there's a glitch in photography skills.
NO we did not reach HELL.
but....

hell's valley =3
it's actually full of sulphur, as pointed out by the red arrow....

and some hot springs emerged from here.
so yep! we stayed in a hot spring hotel that night.
it's sooo traditional, complete with tatami floorings and low rise tables.
and as we only could eat our dinner if we wore the robes (yukata) thay they gave us,i wore it.
actually it's the robes you use to go into the hot baths too.
so i can wear this and go anywhere in the hotel.
it's extremely warm indoors, so i wasn't wearing any long sleeved clothings.
that's how i tied my ribbon around my yukata XD
tada! this is dinner!looks good =3
but they are actually simple fare.
it was amazing i wasn't hungry after that. XD

Oh... that really was my 2nd day.
i wasn't feeling well so i didn't go into the hot spring.
but the tour guide, iggie, said that we'll visit another one later on.
and i got my hot spring experience ^^
