i met this guy at the boon lay bus interchange.
and well, may i convince my readers that i was rushing home and very frustrated with the prospect that i may miss my bus and wait another 20 mins for another one.
then someone tapped my shoulder and blurted 'where do you stay?'

now, this isn't sth normal that u would ask a stranger XD
so i was all surprised, went on defence mode (and partly cos i WAS already annoyed with the long queue in POSB, in kfc etc just now) and answered coldly, if not rudely, that i'm afraid i couldn't disclose such information to him.

so he was asking me to do a survey and i replied that i was rushing home, but he persisted. so i found myself stuck in the tent with other surveyors and as i set my kfc on the table provided he commented 'whoa, kfc for dinner! can i have some?'

don't mean to be extremely ticked off, but after shocking me (and thus a baaaad impression on my side) with such a weird question about where i live, it wasn't very wise to ask for permission to covet my KFC too. but i muttered 'ahhh nooo'

so while i was doing the survey he asked questions that seem casual but i still was uncomfortable to reply. like how old i am, what school i'm studyin in. he thought i was an NTU student. XD i don't mind being called a uni student if i AM going to be one XD but oh well, i regret to state that i was very cold and curt with the man.

when all questions were completed, he thanked me for my time. i nodded and walked off. well.. thinking back i admit i WAS a little too snobby in my attitude, even though he DID make me tear across the interchange running after my bus. but i really respect him 'cos throughout the whole encounter he was friendly and smiley. yeah u may say that that's his job. but it's not easy to smile despite being faced with all sorts of faces XD
