wow, so glad that the most gruelling parts of my busy week is over...
now to 'cruise' my busy work till the coming tuesday...


okay, NOW to tell you what has been happening.
i rushed to city hall on wednesday after school, to meet sarah and simin!
it's been sooo long since we've met up, and i really enjoyed fellowshipping
and bonding with them at new york new york.
we thus concluded that new york new york does serve nice food (that's not pasta)
and that the cotton candy cake looks superb! =P
can't wait for us to be rich enough to go play at tony roma's!
(it WILL happen by faith XD)

thursday! in conjunction with teachers' day celebration,
we had a learning festival from 10:30 to 2:30pm,
so i joined the one held by dancefuzion called 'let's house'
so yeah, we learn about the genre 'house',
and mannnn, it's tiring, all the jumping on our feet to get ourselves warmed up for choreo.

then i joined capoeira, and it was soooo fun!!
i first knew capoeira through a jacky wu variety show,
and i've always been wanting to know more about it.
the history about disguising martial arts into a dance is rather captivating. =3

so i learn really basic things like the ginga, the eskiva (whatever the spelling =P)
and i had my first taste of roundhouse kicks and cartwheels
though i MUST say, my cartwheels... my feet barely lifted the floor
... wahahahahahahhaah! XD
but dimas (the instructor cum senior) was happy okay? =P
i'll work hard on cartwheeling...
... wahahahahahahahahah! XD

friday!
after talking for 2 hours non-stop with my GESL group,
i rushed down with sitong to yew tee for cell group meeting.
praise the Lord i did go for cgm, even though it's makeup cgm,
even though i'm extremely tired and need to wake up early tmr.
i really think being in God's presence will refresh oneself.

anyway, today sammy went for taiwan =((
we'll miss you dear brother.
i feel horrible because i couldn't send him off... .
but i'm really glad he loves the card.

once again, i outdid myself.
i'm getting more uptight as the expectations of my work gone higher.
it's a good thing, but i pray i can maintain such standard, if not better =P

The large piece of land filled with flowers, makeshift offices and wooden cases.
My memories of a younger me running around in my dad's factory were invoked.
The wooden garden swing costing 460 dollars...
To think i was commenting that i haven't sat on a swing for ages while i was on my way there.

About 2 hours there, inclusive of a half an hour walk to and fro the MRT station.
1 hour 15 minutes train and bus ride home... All seems to be worth it.
Our small chat about every small and stupid thing,
about how men die younger because of the stress that the wife gives... .
really glad that we could talk, i enjoyed talking to you so much!! =)
i never thought that we could ever carry out a proper long conversation.
and because i assume you don't read my blog so i'll continue to bad-mouth you.
wahahahahaha XD

hope it wasn't all in vain.

actually it kinda sounded like some sort of a therapy.
Like... a little getaway from this week.
i mean, i could've gone home after the long session at RJC,
but i just decided out of the blue, to visit this place.
the time when i sat on the swing and chatted,
it was really one of the rarest moments when i could feel time slowing down.
and my doubts were out of the window.
the fact that i can talk about this on and on... .
i don't know why this mere few hours meant a lot to me, honestly.

i doubt i'll ever go back again for a long long long time,
but thanks to my little weird boy for being so hospitable,
and bigger thanks to God and the Holy Spirit, who've seen my needs from the start.

yeah, anyway, i'm just posting the pictures of our guild outing on sunday! =)
supposedly celebrating eddie's birthday la, but never get to treat him *slap forehead*
