time to try aunt jemima's pancake mix!
may i say that i've never tried aunt jemima's pancake mix,
usually i make good pancakes, but today's all experimental!
let's go!



it took me soooo long to open the package,
and i stupidly thought, 'wow, sealed for freshness!'
imagine my stunned look when i saw how the mix was packaged.


where's the plastic covering?
then i realised that i'm not supposed to open from the top of the box,
but the side. =\


smart alec me didn't read instructions.
and although the mix is... ready, it still lacked milk, 1 egg and a tablespoon of oil.
soooo here it is, the grotesque sight of the mix (before mixing)



here goes nothing!
opps, bad heat control. i burnt the first one.


the second one, i got paranoid and flipped over before it was really really cooked.
the colour looks good right?
but i could taste the liquid batter still.
so opps again.

finally the third pancake onwards was good.
VERY GOOD.
i love the mix =3

what the. for my driving i had the same instructor again, for the third time.
yeah, the one whom i thought was hitting on me.
well, he seems to still be flirting with me. =\
saying things like 'i still prefer you speaking in chinese, you sound cuter' and stuff like that,
you can't blame my paranoia going haywire.

but he admitted that he doesn't have that many friends,
and i fought back the urge to evangelise XD
i mean, i don't want to end up making friends with instructors from my driving centre.
esp the ones that i think hits on me.
paranoid me. okay, someone shut me up before i inflate my ego further.

i remember talking to sammy and jin hong about a children's bible that i have.
it has beautiful pictures and i enjoyed reading it,
even though i had no concept whatsoever about God and salvation.
there was one picture that moves me whenever i see it.
it was a two page wide picture,
and the only words were the title of the chapter 'jesus is dead'

because of reasons, my mom, sister and i took to sleeping in the living room.

i like sleeping there, really.

and after i grew out of it people did the same thing,

so the 'i am cold' expressions weren't fake. XD

today, while watching channel V,
i heard a song by Andy Leung and Evonne Xu "Liu Xing Xia De Yuan"

the song is so lovely =3 and it's rare to hear christina raving about chinese songs,
