whoaaaa..... 24th oct is over! the busiest part of october! here are the small, yet big things that i've cleared in oct.

• participated in "A Shot to Fame". though i didn't make it through the auditions, i really gained a lot of experience and new faces to get to know to.
• completed my PBL (problem-based learning) presentation.
• practised in the dance performance for barkers' run. though i didn't perform for the barkers' run (which is the 24th XD), we'll perform again next week, THAT i'll be joining =)
• crashed chris and felicia's physics tutorial (which was on the thursday that just passed) it was super fun, i'll tell you more later.
• handover session between old committee and new committee of dancefuzion. =)
• i finally completed stage 5.01 of my driving course today!!!

plus tests, pbl meetings, and many others, i'm quite happy to say that october for me is coming to an end soon. another 2 small quizes and an essay, and i can kiss october goodbye =D

shot to fame ended just a few hours ago. it was really amazing, and the standard has risen so much since 'so you think you can sing?' in 2007. the singers are power-packed, dance were quite entertaining, the bands were bringing the place down. really enjoyed myself =)

i recently made joshua addicted to martin leung =D yes! martin leung for the win! XD

oh yeah, i crashed my friends' physics tutorial. actually last week i was with felicia, and we saw her physics tutor, so i blurted out 'can i join your tutorial next week?'

and he was really nice, he really welcomed me (most lecturers at this time would want to complete their syllabus and all). he told felicia 'remember to give her the tutorial to do okay?' okay... too welcoming XD

so anyway, thursday i walked into the lab, feeling nervous. it's not everyday that a random person would walk in your class and crash the lesson. chris and felicia, on the other hand, were really excited that i've come to join them for lesson. and the tutor was really nice, he gave me a set of lecture notes 0.o that's sooooo sweet >.<

lesson was on diffraction grating, so it's not that bad. once again, i found problem in converting my SI units, but apart from that i could do the questions! shows that as you get older you do mature and stop thinking to yourself that you can't do the questions. XD

how sickening.

it gets really horrible when people tease you because of the size of your house. sometimes i forget that not everyone are THAT well-off. well, they have enough to go and play this and that, but you know that they're carrying a portion of the family's financial burden.

the only reason why my dad insisted on a house last time was because in taiwan houses (like on land, not high-rise apartments) are cheap, so the common idea is that it's normal to get a house there.

it really sucks, especially recalling the fact that i always avoided discussing my house with my friends. i really hate it when people generalise that big house = rich. i don't want to come across to people that i may be materialistic. and who knows? maybe i AM materialistic. i love to listen and increase my knowledge on brands, is that materialism? you guys do your theory.
