i'm back from japanese lesons again.
so far it's been good. lessons are held everyday
(except saturdays and sundays)
till wednesday (yes, im graduating from elementary class soon! XD)
i struggle a little on the particles and grammar,
but apart from that i'm still surviving.
one of the things we were plunged into was to learn hiragana ASAP.
my classmates were amazed that i could read and write hiragana well.
reason to THAT is because in sec 3,
my classmate chin han printed out the list of hiragana and katakana
and distributed it for us to read and understand.
but really, i forgot (or rather, i underestimated)
how much i really DID put in the effort to remember and use them.
the remembrance came back while i was...
(say it christina, SAY IT)
... cleaning my room. =\
ANYWAY, i was clearing up the place where i kept my certs, my diaries, my art pieces etc.
and i stumbled upon a notebook.
upon opening it i found, to my utmost horror and surprise,
the song lyrics i used to copy from in japanese.
i.e: while i bought my japanese albums,
i wrote down every single song in japanese, on my notebook.
and then when i came across kanji, i'll write the kanji down,
and then listen to the song over and over again until i get it.
wow. even i was awed when i think about it.
i WAS that hard-working, and it paid off.
i don't have to spend time figuring out the hiragana and focus on my grammar/vocab instead.
oh well, all the best to me and my final test on wednesday!
it's both oral and written test. =\
i don't know which one i'm better at XD
over this week, i've created a list of things that make me happy and i realise i only have a few:
- painting rooms (ouyang's room, to be specific)
- washing cars (*sing* working at the car wash! XD)
- running after buses (that really made me smile after the horrible truth that i couldn't join the council in their bbq at germaine's house on saturday)
i didn't even get to see emma one last time.
oh well, i'm going to ensure i see her when she comes back.
i've been thinking about arthur.
even after breaking up him for 3 years, i still think about him.
not in the romantic sense, but more of nostalgia.
i still like him the most of all the guys that i've dated.
who wouldn't?
but there's no point in looking back isn't it? people got girlfriend already!!! XD
heard they were going to get engaged.
(cynical 'marriage-when-young'-mode activated)
well... good luck. =P i mean, it's not impossible, but it IS hard to say you want to commit yourself to a girl when you're only 20.
wahahaha, all the best to arthur and melanie.
i've got my life ahead of me to expect! XD
recently i dreamt about jun cheng. yes! again! =\
the dream was something about relationships. (yes, nothing about jun cheng XD)
i woke up, and my first reaction was '%&$*$, jun cheng and i??????'
and of course, i realised what the dream was really about.
this is the 5th (or was it the 4th) dream i've made about relationships.
how many more dreams must i make before i break out of my fear?
after a long long time, i met khee xuan on msn! XD
he's this boy i made friends with a LONG time ago, in choir exchange practices.
he heard about the things that have been happening, and said 'don't worry, have faith!' 0.o
yeah, a non-believer talking to me about faith.
how pathetic can i get now? =P
WAHAHAHAHAHA!!! CAMP X!!!
it was soooo fun! i can't possibly tell you everything about it,
cos i can't remember. =P
but a big congrats to joshua winning mr haute couture!
me want the camp pictures!! >.>
my house people were really fun people! XD
you have no idea how happy i was when i saw them again in church on saturday!
truly, church camps are crucial.
or else i'll never know the people in my church.
camp x is really really one of the best camps ive been to!
don't get me wrong, jj-cians.
i love jj camps. i mean, i played a part in planning them. of course i love them!
jj camps are really fun, and the games are extremely whacky.
but what makes camp x different and incomparable to the camps jj have.
is the presence of God.
moving on.
this is what happened. i went out for my classes the entire week.
on friday, i had a mini cough.
it was really almost over on saturday when my sister suggested i drink effervescence drink.
yeah, those that you drop the tablet in and it goes 'fzzzz....'
so the good girl that i am, i drank.
turns out that the dose was too strong.
i hardly slept and ended up with phlegm-city and mucus-land.
doctor i went, who prescribed me the same old stuff that i took ever since i was a kid.
because of my induced 'sickness', i can't go out of the house except to jap class...
until my interview on thursday is over. argh...
i want to go prayer meeting T.T
i'm sick of being sick. i hate the fact that my immune system is so weak.
it's only half way june, and i've already fell sick 3 times, one of which was a fever.
no more, i must build up my immune system!!!
it's hi to fruits and bye to... whatever that's breaking my immune system!! XD
okay. this is it. i've whined enough.
ever since april i've been fighting for my university admission.
it's been feeling upset, angry, emotional all in one go.
thanks for your concern. but still.
i've had it with everyone asking me 'are you okay?', 'cheer up', 'things will go fine.'
this is it. i don't want to sit here watching my blog turn into depression centre.
i'll stop my angstiness.
argh... how to? everyone's reading too much into my blog,
even if i were to write 'mary had a little lamb'
people'll probably think i'm upset XD
Words of the *~PaRaNoId QuEEn~*
star bright star bright! XD
