i went to watch the movie 'sex and the city' just now.
now to those who are sitting there, mouth gaping, wondering
'why would non movie-loving christina watch, of ALL movies, sex and the city??',
it's because 'sex and the city' is my sister's all-time favourite show.
and being the good sister who wants some quality sister time, i watched it with her,
while my parents enjoy their romantic moments watching indy jones.
well, for an M18 show, it was pleasantly nice.
i was surrounded by brand names like louis vuitton, manolo blahnik, vera wang, starbucks ('lol')
and vivienne westwood (the gown is SOOO yummy =D)
you should've heard my gasp when the guy (called john something)
threw a pair of manolo blahniks onto the floor.
i was hissing to my sister 'he threw a pair of manolo blahniks onto the floor!!!!'
my goodness! that's 1.5k singapore dollars you just threw onto the floor like... newspaper!!!
well, for an M18 show, it was UNpleasantly typical.
i was surrounded by what the name suggests, sex.
and needless to say, i saw a guy's.... yeah.
i... was so traumatised.
i know, it was a silhouette, i didn't see anything else.
but i was sooo hoping that i could keep my record of having not seen a male's private part till i'm married.
sec 2 science is invalid as it's an illustration of anatomy, not the real thing.
oh well, i guess the record shifts to 'seeing a non-silhouette dumbstick till i'm married.'
here i am, degraded to talking about male private parts.
how eloquent.
anyway, after i'm back from the movie, and i was walking my dog
when a neighbour walked a bull terrier (no idea the specifics)
and that dog nearly pulled its owner along as it tried to attack aichio. =\
'hugo, no!' said the owner.
hugo???? like... hugo boss??? XD
wahahahahahahahahaaha!
it's so inappropriate and appropriate at the same time, the dog DOES look like a 'hugo'.
but it's like... calling a pug 'william' or something.
... eloquence just went down one more point.
i wish i never told my mom my thoughts on retaking the 'a' levels.
that's the thing with my mom, she jumps into conclusions.
when i got my results, many people tell her that i should be able to get into a uni.
(which really, SHOULD be the case)
and she went around telling the relatives that i'm in a university already. >.>
so now she's like 'you better study NOW.'
i mean, she's completely looked past the possibility that i could be accepted for my appeal.
whatever i've built up since primary school,
came crashing down with my 3 Cs.
she's completely forgotten about the fact that i'm the only one who made it into jc,
passed her psle, o and a levels.
everything.
all she sees now is the fact that i've made her lose face,
just like how my other sisters did in their school days.
you know what's the worst thing?
each day i'm compelled to think that i've really become a failure.
now, eloquence gone up one point, self-esteem plummets.
Words of the *~PaRaNoId QuEEn~*
vivienne westwood =3
(i've a feeling i ended it this way before)
